We welcome everyone to come experience abundant life.
We strive to be intentional about bringing Jesus into our everyday lives, seeking to penetrate the depths of Christian discipleship, enabling us to grow mature in our understanding of and faith in God.
We serve because Jesus first served us. Our service is an opportunity to worship God, love one another and participate in the transformation of Santa Barbara. If you call Montecito Covenant Church home, we encourage you to consider how you can glorify God by serving others.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES
Our desire is to introduce children to Jesus as their Lord and Savior, to respond to His love and His Call to follow Him.
NURSERY
Children through 6th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School during the service, which begins following The Story at the Steps moment in our service. Sunday School ends at 11:15 am.
Nursery care is available throughout the service for Infants-Age 3. Our desire for these little ones is to provide a loving, safe environment where they will begin to learn and experience the love of Jesus. All of our volunteers and staff are required to wear masks and we recently purchased an air purifier for added safety.
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL
We count it a very great privilege to be teaching children about Jesus and what it means to be His disciple. Sunday School for children meets during the 10 am church service. Parents sign in their children for Sunday School at the Welcome Cart outside the sanctuary, begin in the service with their parents, and are excused to begin Sunday School after Story at the Steps. Children ages 4 through 6th grade currently meet for an outdoor Sunday school class adjacent to the playground for singing, praying, Bible stories, and activities. Parents sign their children out of Sunday School at the end of the service.
ELEVATE SPORTS
Elevate is a character-based basketball league hosted by Montecito Covenant Church in our beautiful gym.

IGNITE HALF-DAY CAMP
Ignite is a faith-based, half-day camp for 1st-8th graders that includes basketball, volleyball, creative arts, and music. No sports experience necessary.

WHAT HAPPENED TO NOAH’S?
Noah’s Half-Day Camp has been hosted by Montecito Covenant Church for over 40 years. It has made an incredible impact on all of those involved. The past few years have required many creative adjustments and this year some of our key leaders have had to step back from their critical roles. In the meantime we have seen community enthusiasm grow around our new sports based programming. Accompanying that interest are leaders eager to help with a faith-based day-camp, Ignite. While you will notice many similarities between Ignite and Noah’s, our plan is to launch Ignite in 2023 (with its sports, creative arts, music, and spiritual life components) and are evaluating if we will continue Noah’s in 2024.
YOUTH MINISTRIES
Our youth ministry programs serves 5th – 12th grade students, and it is our prayer and passion that the ministry provides opportunities for students to be introduced to Jesus, grow in their walk with God, deepen their relationships with one another and serve those in need. We provide a dynamic environment, combining worship, creativity, games and relevant teaching.
ADULT MINISTRIES
We exist to be a place where adults of all ages can come together, encounter God and be empowered to live out His plans and purposes for their lives. Join like-minded men and women in conversationally studying God’s word, praying for one another, and participating in God’s exciting mission to our
YOUNG ADULT MINISTRIES
Here at MCC, we have found that the most meaningful life experiences happen through participating in God’s redemptive work in the world in ways that we are uniquely made for, while communing with other believers! Our hope is that during your time at Montecito Covenant, we can be companions and encouragers on your journey of discovering what it means to live in God’s will as your own unique being and to live out His love and compassion for the world–including for you!
Join are Children’s and Youth volunteer team! We have found incredibly meaningful spiritual companionship occurs when we are serving together. Join us for regular fellowship times and training meetings as our team grows together!

LIFE GROUPS
If you would like to grow in relationship with others and deepen your relationship with Jesus, joining a Life Group is a great place to start. Life Groups meet twice a month; many of the groups are intergenerational and cover a variety of topics. These groups are a great way to get more involved!

SUNDAY WORSHIP TEAM
We lead the musical worship during the 10 am service through voice and instrumental ensembles. We are always looking for new people to join us, and new ideas to explore. If you sing, play an instrument, or are interested in lighting, sound, or video, please let us know!
PRAYER
We have two regular opportunities for prayer at Montecito Covenant: 3-4 pm every Tuesday afternoon on Zoom and 9-9:45 AM every 1st and 3rd Sunday before the worship service. Our first prayer group began several years ago with a goal to pray for our children and youth. Throughout the past years, we have continued to pray for these needs and have expanded our prayers to include the needs and concerns of our entire church and our church family including those requests that are made weekly. We have seen God’s many blessings as a result of these prayers, and we have seen the bond that develops among friends who pray. Please join us on the Zoom for Tuesday afternoon prayer and in the Prayer Room for Sunday morning prayer.
