Easter & Good Friday
Services
Friday, April 3rd @ 7:00 PM
“Tenebrae” is Latin for “darkness.”
This traditional service invites us into a somber, reflective journey through the passion story of Christ. As Scripture is read, candles are gradually extinguished, and the room darkens—symbolizing Jesus’ journey to the cross. We hope you'll join us for this powerful and meaningful time of worship as we prepare our hearts to more fully receive the joy of the empty tomb on Easter morning.
Sunday, April 5 @ 10:00 a.m.
Easter Volunteer Opportunities – Let’s Celebrate!
Easter is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate together and with our guests! Montecito Covenant will be hosting a joyful Easter gathering following the service, complete with finger foods and fun children’s Easter Egg Hunts. If you’d like to contribute, we’d love for you to bring finger foods to the satellite kitchen near the gazebo before the service begins—homemade or store-bought, all is welcome! We’re also excited to create a warm, welcoming experience for everyone who joins us—friends, family, and first-time guests alike.
If you’re available to serve at the Welcome Cart or as one of our Door Greeters on Easter Sunday (April 5), we would love to have you be part of the team!
